...proclaiming
the Kingdom of God through a Renewal of Catholic Culture
In response to Pope John Paul II’s call for “a clearly
conceived, serious and well-organized effort to evangelize culture,” the Our Lady of Walsingham
Institutes of Catholic Culture Studies is constantly developing and implementing innovative educational and cultural programs. These programs are modern vehicles to rediscover
and educate lay persons regarding the rich cultural and historical traditions,
as well as the intellectual and spiritual heritage, of the Roman Catholic
Church. Specifically, we seek to kindle
a spiritual and intellectual renewal of
American culture.
“The whole history of
culture shows that man has a natural tendency to seek a religious foundation
for his social way of life and that when culture loses its spiritual basis it
becomes unstable.” (Christopher Dawson, Religion
and Culture, Gifford
Lectures)
To accomplish this goal, we sponsor many diverse
educational and literary initiatives,
lectures, forums, and conferences through the following programs:
Children of the Holy House
(educational program for
home educators, grades K-12)
Radio Walsingham
(internet radio station)
Voces
Veritatis
(speakers bureau)
William Byrd Music
Institute
(vocal and musical
training)
